First Wave Feminism
For the first time in American history, women have finally begun to rebel and speak out against their limited rights. In this first insurrection of feminism, women began to focus on their legal disabilities, with the most prominent being suffrage. This brought about many rallies, protests, and conventions led by powerful, influential women which eventually helped to grant them exactly what they long sought after.
